Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product for the cost I have at present owned/used this table saw for 6 months and information technology has been perfect. I've even used this saw to cut custom chocks for shipping using blended 2x4s and it cut perfectly. While the tabular array size and features are lacking compared to more expensive tabular array saws, this is perfect for me with my smaller store and my beginner DIY skill level. I am able to accomplish everything I accept wanted to thus far with ease. The ane drawback is the OEM miter slot tabs that brand purchasing or creating a nice table saw sled difficult. I actually wish that this saw did take the standard miter track slots which would expand the ease of making new jigs/sleds.

Rated 5 out of five by from Great table saw at a reasonable price [This review was collected every bit part of a promotion.] I needed a table saw to make rip cuts for a hardwood floor installation. I've been trying it past hand for a while but information technology's a lot of work and the cuts are less than perfect. This tabular array saw is the perfect answer for light to medium duty projects. I at present have to cut oak stair treads and the examination cuts so far accept been like a hot knife through butter. Sturdy table and stand. Great blade and quiet powerful motor. Comes by and large assembled except for the legs. I attached my store vacuum to the exhaust on the back of the tabular array and it's near dust-free. All components are quality and for the price, this is a really good buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great saw bad instructions I've seen the saw before but at present could not pass up the cost. A by review posted that the instructions were bad. YES VERY BAD. My propose is give yourself time and be patient. The worst part is the assembly of the legs. The rest is fine. The saw is perfect for minor projects. Information technology takes upwards very footling space. Portable? Yeah. Light weight? Yep. Folds up quick? No. I plan to upgrade the stand to one with wheels. Accessories: Through away the miter jig. The safety stuff is fine. The debate actually works improve then I expected. All in all a cracking saw for small projects.

Rated 2 out of five past from Craftsman poor workmanship Out of the box the riving knife is bent. Which catches the wood equally yous push through and is very dangerous. I contacted Craftsman cutomer service and they forrad me to some 3rd party visitor and said they deceit do annihilation and to render it to the shop. and so i return information technology and get some other 1. Out of the box, the angle lock lever is rigged incorrectly so when I lock the angle, the blade raising handle hits the lock and cant be raised. I also but bought a Craftsman 20" chainsaw and out of the box, the concatenation was installed backwards. Very upset with Craftsman's commitment of quality in at that place products. No more than Craftsman products for me.

Rated ane out of 5 past from This is not a safe saw First things first, I know this is an entry level saw and so I am not comparison it to a professional grade table saw. However, I purchased this saw as I am waiting on my new tabular array saw to get in and I used it for the kickoff time today (eleven/7/20). I make pen blanks and sell them via the internet and I use a table saw a lot to cutting acrylic pen blanks. I cut them to 7/viii" square and every bit I was attempting to cutting the blanks I realized the insert was flexing and the blank was getting wedged against the blade, very dangerous for kick back. Because of the insert flexing I plant it difficult to get square cuts. Very disappointed in Craftsman'due south lack of quality on this saw.Er

Rated one out of 5 by from The Pharynx Plate is(abhorrently) dangerous/flexes Offset i I had to bring in and commutation within three days. The pharynx plate is so unbelievably flexible it feels more akin to a hard rubber than any plastic Ive always known, its non stiff. The 2nd one, same Plate and then, before I immune it to damage my fence or break more fingers, fabricated my ain out of oak ASAP. HOW IS THIS Matter SOLD WITH AN "Prophylactic" throat plate?! Otherwise thing is quite crawly for the toll! But wouldn't ever ever reccomend it, theres a green/yellow guy at another BB colored orange that is or was(the new model kinda sucks) that was my starting time table saw and that had a real throat plate non an accident waiting to happen

Rated 5 out of v by from Very Handy Purchased this saw to cut hickory laminate wood flooring. Laid 728 square anxiety of floor and all the cuts were square and correct on. Have since used information technology to cutting 2x4'southward for a 14x22 shop and for cutting 2x3's to fur out and insulate basement walls. I take congenital 52 feet of storage cabinets. Enough of power for all projects! All cuts were square and extremely accurate with not a trouble! I take 4 blades I use and changing blades is very easy. Very happy with the saw and can say the cuts are true and accurate from the crude cut to extremely accurate! Would (and take) recommended it to others!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Table saw is non good. Junk ! I bought this terminal week, setup was easy. BUT this is actually a cheap saw. 1. The miter gauge is sloppy and the rails volition non take my onetime craftsman miter tool. Plus it is not a standard slot. No employ trying to make anything to use in this slot. 2. The nut that secured the blade on was so tight that I had to utilise a pipe over a wrench to get information technology loose to replace the 24 tooth blade with an 80 for finer cuts. 3. The ability switch or offset switch does not work right. Button the switch to start and nothing, push again and it might start. Pushed a 3rd time to get it to run. Switch is engaged but not running. Afterward all of this, I boxed information technology dorsum up and will render information technology tomorrow. Volition spend the money for a meliorate saw. H.West.Southward
